boyz n da hood

I remember the last time a boyz n da good album was released. It was the summer of 2004 and I had just finished my first year of college. Memphis bleek had just released “534” with only one notable song, Dear Summer and Young Jeezy had already built a sizable cult following in the south and was expanding his reach to the rest of the country. It was in this climate in which the first boyz n da hood was released which featured Dem Boyz.

Boyz n da hood is following up that release with the aptly titled, Back up n da Chevy. The make up of the group is little different now and that’s because Young Jeezy has moved on to greener pastures. Other than that, the core of the group is the same and they manage to release an album that seems to be better than the last album. So go check it out…
