Stussy licensed some of the famous portrait work by cartoonist Basil Wolverton for a series of Holiday 2009 t-shirts. These are some pretty nice shirts.

Basil Wolverton is one of the most well respected cartoonsists and illustrators from the golden age of comic books. He was best known for his grotesque caricatures and work with Mad Magazine. Last summer, The Gladstone Gallery in New York City exhibited a retrospective of his work, showcasing it for the first time in a gallery setting.
