Released from the PF Flyers archive of 1943, the Rambler Hi and Lo stays true to every original charm. Its bold sport details of high-visibility hash mark foxing and pronounced diamond toe bumper are balanced with vintage style of two-tone stitching, fine weave 9 oz. canvas, striated toecap and inner webbing stripe.
“The Rambler, while an archival style, looked totally new and fresh for us,” said Alana Choquette, PF Flyers product manager. “We have taken the original designs and colors, and modernized the fit and comfort. We feel the Rambler perfectly represents PF Flyers as classic heritage product with the modern sophistication people expect from the brand.”
The Rambler, inspired by the original archived design, brings forth the heritage of PF Flyers for spring 2010. In 1943, and now in 2010, the Rambler remains a classic sneaker.
The Rambler includes a special Posture Foundation sole insert that makes this classic shoe extra comfortable. The insert has an antimicrobial moisture wicking wedge, new EVA molded wedge, and a gel-injected heel for increased cushioning and comfort
With vintage PF Flyer logo markings, vulcanized and Posture Foundation sole, the Rambler is available in black and natural in both Lo and Hi silhouettes. This pinnacle style will be available worldwide at top boutiques and fine department stores. The Rambler Lo will be available for $70 and the Rambler Hi will be priced at $80.
