The iPhone 4 is here. Quickly, here is a run down of the new Hardware changes and updates:
“Thinnest smartphone on the planet.” – The first feature highlighted is that the new device is 24% thinner than the iPhone 3GS.
Glass front and back panels – It’s all glass and stainless steel, Jobs noted comparing it to a “beautiful old Leica camera.”

326 pixel per inch display – The iPhone 4 screen is 960×640, giving it four times as many pixel as the iPhone 3GS. The 800:1 contrast ratio is also four times better than the iPhone 3GS. In fact, the iPhone 4 gives you 78% of the pixels on the iPad, right in the palm of your hand, according to Jobs.

New Apps – Guitar Hero, FarmVille, and NetFlix
Battery Life – iPhone 4 uses Apple’s A4 chip which allows for a bigger battery. The combination of these two things allows for 40% better battery life in some situations
iMovie on the iPhone – The iphone will capture sharp 720p thus making it the greatest smartphone video capturing device on the market. Interestingly enough, the phone will come with a lite version of iMovie. Meaning transitions, clipping, tap focus, led light and one-tap sharing. It has text and titles, geolocation, themes, music and even multi-touch gestures for trimming in the timeline.

Face Time – Face time Video calling available for iPhone 4 for anywhere wi-fi is available. Just make a phone call and it works out the box. Facetime will also be open standards..
