Venerable Japanese Denim Brand Evisu collaborates with New York Brand Common Projects on a collection of sneakers. Common Projects is a collaboration between designers Prathan Poopat and Flavio Girolami. The brand reflects the collective industrial and graphic design backgrounds of the two designers and was formed in 2004 in New York. Inspiration for the brand comes from utilitarian design and luxury products, and the items released from the two feature minimalist design basics .
Inspired by fundamental architectures found in everyday objects, each product is infused with tailoring and executed using the finest materials and processes. Common Projects offerings are practical yet luxurious. The line endorses the companies dedication to basic footwear architecture and marks each shoe with a proprietary gold stamp on the heel.
The shoes in the collection include 3 colorways of high top sneakers and 3 colorways of low tops. Only 100 pairs per colorway are available in the first delivery. The minimalist look of the sneakers makes these a standout. These shoes will be appropriate for an evening visiting your favorite club or for a second date with the young lady you met at whole foods.
