Teklado Launch Event: The Recap

We were on hand for the launch of the newest magazine in town, TekLado. The launch party was held at Trust Gallery and was a spectacular event. Thanks to Megan Smith from BrownstonePR for getting Uristocrat involved.

Tek Lado is a technology and pop culture magazine for the new bilingual generation. The premiere print issue of this Philadelphia-based publication hit the stands on Sept. 27, 2010. The next print edition will come out on Nov. 22, 2010.

Tek Lado focuses on a host of subjects related to the way we live in the 21st century: social networking, digital inclusion, mobile-wireless, Internet, online dating, community issues, computing, entertainment, gaming, gadgets, and so on. What makes it a little different is that it’s in English and Spanish — and Spanglish, of course.

The publication isn’t just for people from a Hispanic background. The goal is to broaden the reach of the cultural conversation about technology. So whether someone is first-generation, second-generation, third-generation or Generation X, Y or Z, there’s something of interest.
