Ben Sherman Modern Classics gives us a look at their Autumn/Winter collection for 2010. The collection takes over 50 years of shirt making expertise and releases a range of classic, everyday (read simple) pieces that flow neatly into any wardrobe. The Fall/Winter 2010 collection is the first to come from the Modern Classics brand.
The story behind the shoot is as such, “A couple of weeks back Ben Sherman Modern Classics hit the road – the destination the remote village of Kilchoan, on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, the most westerly point on British mainland. Nearly 600 miles from London, and 55 miles from the nearest town – on highland roads, that’s a two and a half hour drive! The next ten days were spent hiking the highlands and mountains, checking out the wildlife, beaches and the local islands, as well as their whisky distilleries and some amazing shellfish, including a diving expedition to catch our own lunch. A six hour drive was to follow, to the north coast in search of some waves, for some more hiking along the spectacularly rugged coastline, and to check out some very remote pubs. It was a beautiful getaway to some of Britain’s most untouched corners. AW10 Modern Classics accompanied us along the way, and needless to say, it stood up well to the physical demands the rugged environment asked of it.”
