ESPN 30 for 30: The Fab Five

ESPN’s 30 for 30 series in my opinion stands as one of the greatest series of sports documentaries ever. I should also mention that its the only sports documentary series that I am aware of. The stories presented by 30 for 30 have included Allen Iverson, Miami University and Marion Jones. However, the Fab Five, directed by Jason Hehir, may be the best of the bunch. The Fab Five story tells us of what may have been one of the greatest freshman classes of all time and what the definition of unfilled potential is. Its a shame that Chris Webber, Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King, and Ray Jackson couldn’t win the NCAA Champioinship. Whats even worse is that a lot of their achievements have been wiped out due to scandals involving some of the players on the team. Enjoy the video above and learn about the real story behind the Fab Five.

  1. One of the greatest documentaries I have ever seen ever. I wish they delved a little more into the racial aspect of the Fab 5 but still amazing in every right. Peace
