March 11 will feature the release of Apples revolutionary second generation iPad. The iPad2 will now pack new features that enhance the device including front and rear cameras (a la iPhone 4), a dual-core A5 chip and and HDMI output. The use of the dual-core A5 chip will significantly increase the speed of the device, up to twice what the iPad did. However a few things will stay the same including pricing and battery life, up 10 hours.
The device will also feature a new cover. Steve Jobs described it as: “We designed the case right along side the product. It’s not a case — it’s a cover.” The cover makes use of the devices proximity sensor and it allows the device to wake up or power off once the cover is removed. The device is 33 percent smaller than its predecessor while coming in options of white and black now. Look out on March 12th for this on both AT&T and Verizon
