ANNOUNCING PHLTH: PHILADELPHIA’S DIRTY MUSIC PARTY
FEATURING FIGURE (PLAY ME, ULTRA, HEAVY ARTILLERY) & FLUFFTRONIX
18+, 7/28 @ FLUID NIGHTCLUB
PHLTH is a night full of music for the devil on your shoulder. Expect to hear everything from evil trap anthems to raunchy dubstep, from unsavory party music to deplorably dirty house. We’ll be bringing in special guests from across the globe, starting in July with the king of Midwestern Bass, FIGURE (Play Me Records, Ultra, Jack Knife)—plus support from Flufftronix and opening sets from Suga Shay and DirtyDave.
PHLTH will also feature live video installation, and the event will be filmed by Lancaster videographer Taylor Linsey. PHLTH is curated by its resident DJ, FLUFFTRONIX, whose crews have brought Rusko, Benga, Girl Unit, Bok Bok, L-Vis 1990 Kingdom, Joker, Deathface, Roska and Ikonika to Philly.
FIGURE has solitarily established a name for the Midwest in the world of bass music with his innovations of the bassline. He has quickly solidified himself as a leading authority on Drumstep, although genre holds no meaning for this young producer. Always charting high in Dubstep, DNB and Electro House, there is no way to ignore the movement he has created. His music is regularly featured on the likes of BBC radio and supported by some of the world leaders in electronic music such as Skrillex , Excision, and Diesel Boy. With a number of well-received releases on respected labels such as Play Me, Heavy Artillery, and Ultra highlighted by remixes for legends such as Bart B More, Diplo, Urban Assault, Hirshee, Kissy Sell Out, and Will Bailey. The future can only affirm the claim that FIGURE just may be the most prolific Bass artist in North America.
