Philadelphia is becoming a hot bed for musical festivals. We have another one to announce and this time it’s the Popped! Music Festival going down September 23rd and 24th. The festival will be the fantastic featuring of great alternative, hip hop and indie bands including Rakim, Girl Talk, Panda Bear, Patty Crash, Questlove, Black Thought and More.
The Popped! Music Festival will also feature The POPPED! Food Bazaar, curated by Alexis Rosenzweig of POPPED! Festival, Inc., Corey Fair, Chef and Blogger of The Modern Farm Table, Philly Homegrown, The Food Trust, and Drew Lazor of Meal Ticket, is a community food celebration highlighting an eclectic range of Philadelphia’s premium food destinations. Featuring everything from gelato, tacos, to brick oven pizza from a truck, the POPPED! Food Bazaar showcases the tastiest food from Philadelphia’s restaurants, gourmet food trucks, and markets. POPPED! Music Festival is committed to creating a sustainable festival environment, with participating vendors embracing local, fresh, and healthy food choices. Vegetarian and vegan options will not be overlooked, with delicious treats ranging from vegan cupcakes to crepes. In an effort to keep FDR Park looking beautiful, all vendors will serve their dishes in biodegradable, eco-minded containers.
