HyLo Boutiques (@HyLoBoutiques) “Treat Your Senses” Recap

The event was held at the Studio ^2, a shared space of HyLo Boutiques and studio:christensen. As the event title suggests, each sense was delivered to attendees through various mediums. Philadelphia clothing brand Duke & Wintson who supplied us with candles from his accessory collection in the scents of citrus, bergamot, juniper, and jasmine while Tsi-La Organics provided all-natural aromas that were made from the purest ingredients for their oils and perfumes catered to our sense of smell. COPA Soaps embraced the same philosophy with their all-natural soaps handmade in their Northern Liberties store.  Trendy, knitted infinity scarves and other outerwear accessories by the hippie-minded, vintage-inspired Haight Ashbury while products from Cultured Couture and Peg and Awl and handmade ornaments from Philadelphia branding agency AT MEDIA fulfilled our sense of touch.

Other vendors who satisfied our sense of taste included holiday baskets from Northern Liberties spanish market Quince, delicious fudge from Betty’s Speaekeasy, chocographs from Art in the Age | SNAP,  and French pastries from Market Day Canele. HyLo Boutiques incorporated each sense often associated with the holiday season and gathered them all in one space! HyLo Boutiques embraces a hyperlocal philosophy which supports the ever-growing talent in all creative industries of Philadelphia. We look forward to seeing more events from the fashion and design collective!
