February 11th, 2012 you are personally invited to come celebrate the past, present, and future as YEBIES has its 2nd annual Black History Month affair, A Night at the Cotton Club 2. This prelaunch event for the new website is in honor of the 1920’s Harlem Renaissance: the culture and style it cultivated and left us with. Being inspired by the innovation and creativity from Harlem’s past to present-day Washington DC, YEBIES brings you this special occasion.
The night features live music from singer/songwriter Camari James Drew(CJD) and DJ Spicoli of DCtoBC and the popular Rock Creek SocialClub. A portion of the proceeds will go to charity, benefiting the Louder Than Words Foundation. Throughout the night there will be several raffles to support that effort, as well as many giveaways. Make sure you come out ready to dance, network, drink, socialize, and most importantly have fun. This will definitely be a night to remember as we take a trip back in time!
