The Philadelphia Flower Show got off to a rousing start on March 4th and I was there in attendance with my family to take in the sights and sounds of Hawaii as presented by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. The show was breathtaking at all points beginning with the magnificent entrance featuring the ‘waves’ of Hawaii. I won’t let the cat out of the bag but the entrance to the 2012 Flower Show rivals the 2011 Entrance which featured a replica of Paris’ Eiffel Tower.
The Exhibitions at the Flower Show are as impressive as usual and features an array of flowers and greenery inspired by America’s 50th state. There is also a performance during the show which showcases the music and culture of Hawaii. I would definitely make sure not to miss the performance while at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
