Vans releases a new pair of sneakers based on it’s popular Cobern style. The sneaker takes its cues and inspiration from the classic boat shoe but with a Vans twist. Take a look below at the photos:
As part of their ever-evolving Fall 2012 OTW collection, Vans offers up a remix of the popular Cobern model. An updated and modern take on a classic boat shoe silhouette, the rich brown and navy offering contains a minimalist appeal and distinct and durable construction. Boasting a moc toe and available in four different colorways, expect to see the Cobern 2 on shelves in June at select OTW retailers.
The Cobern modernizes the classic boat-shoe by infusing Vans sneaker element into the design. Featuring a moc toe and buttery materials, this shoe looks good on or off the dock.
The design of the shoe is made even more classic and minimalist through some details, such as building “decon” of the upper passallacci that the four become three, and some original combinations of materials such as leather / canvas / ripstop nylon or nubuck / suede / denim . Four color variations proposals, all arriving with the month of June from retailers of Vans OTW.
