Born in Sacramento California in 1961, Daniel Johnston is an artist, singer, songwriter and musician. Mr. Johnston’s music has appeared in several films including Kids, Where the Wild Things Are, and the award winning documentary about his art and life The Devil and Daniel Johnston. His songs have been covered by numerous musical artists including Beck and Pearl Jam, amongst others. Mr. Johnston’s artwork and illustrations are straightforward expressions that are often connected to his own fears and desires.
Supreme has teamed up with Daniel Johnston for a group of three original T-Shirts highlighting his highly original illustrative style. This group will be offered along with three other T-Shirts for the Summer delivery.

For Summer 2012, Supreme unveils a trio of T-shirts that align with its steady roll-out of seasonal pieces. Featuring a few items that have seen glimpses in various editorial lookbooks, including the WARP feature, the range also includes a T-shirt iteration to the previously released Arabic hoodie that was unveiled in theinaugural Spring/Summer 2012 drop. The release also includes a highly anticipated Pam Grier T-shirt. Aligning with the release of the Daniel Johnston x Supreme T-shirt capsule collection, the new summer tees will be available beginning June 14 through the Supreme New York, Los Angeles, London and online chapters. Japan will see availability two days later on June 16.
