Footwear Flashback: “De La Soul” Nike SB Dunks

Remember the pink box era of Nike SB? Yeah, it’s been a while, but during that time we saw some of the greatest releases in the skateboarding brand’s existence. Two of those releases were inspired by the iconic Hip-Hop group, De La Soul. In 2005 Nike SB released high and low-top edition Dunks to commemorate the group’s success and importance of their Hip-Hop influence. The low-top featured a white base with colorful De La Soul branding, while the high-top featured a brown and green base with the same bright branding. Were you lucky enough to grab a pair?

Also, you can catch the trio performing at this year’s Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas on November 4, 2012.
