Jordan Brand recently launched the Jordan CP3.VI, the sixth signature shoe in Chris Paul’s line. Packed with some of the best technology that Nike/Jordan Brand has to offer, the performance sneaker features Podulon cushioning, a Hyperfuse upper, a solid rubber outsole, and a cushioned heel. In addition to the technology, Jordan Brand has embraced CP3′s new standing in Los Angles and has incorporated into the design many of the cultural aspects that help make Los Angeles the city that it is. Besides the “Home” colorway of the CP3.VI, Jordan Brand has also released the Nitro pack. The pack is inspired by the underground racing culture in Los Angeles and features colors often seen on these cars in the streets.
Over the weekend, Jordan Brand brought out their Flight Truck packed with the CP3.VI as well as bunch of kids from the Los Angeles area to the LA Fire Academy. Kids and adults alike were given the chance to throw on the CP3.VI and run a quick skills challenged that allowed them to experience what it was like to play in the shoe. From dribbling, to cutting, to passing, participants had a chance to really show their skills in the shoe. Finally, everyone was invited to watch a celebrity game which included The Game, Pooch Hall, Jesse Williams, Common, Hit Boy, Casey Veggies, NBA Veteran Jalen Rose, NFL Veteran Willie McGinest, Anthony Anderson, Nice Kicks writer Jacques Slade, and others. We are happy to say that our team won. Enjoy a few pics from the event below and look forward to some interviews with the some of the stars from the game.
