Westcliff Pavilion by GASS

Located on a ridge overlooking Johannesburg, South Africa is the Westcliff Pavillion by architectural firm obat kuat viagra usa. Named after the ridge it occupies, this elegant residence employs a primarily steel facade to stunning effect. With a design brief from the client calling for maximum views with minimal environmental impact in an arresting design, George van Gass and Clare Eisenstein of GASS designed this steel framed pavillion that floats on the ridge with only the structural steel columns touching the ground below. Clad primarily in glass, the house offers fantastic views across the Johannesburg skyline. The wooden decking encircling the house continues inside for an easy transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. With abundant natural stone, many of the surrounding houses employ indigenous stone in their detailing and the architects were keen to continue that tradition. To that end, the two architects designed a “floating” stone wall which dominates the back side of the house.
