Essentials: Meek Mill

Prolific Philly rapper or Robert Williams has been putting out mixtapes since 2006, but only released his first studio album Dreams & Nightmares last week accompanied by a about his life and background. The album has debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart this week, selling 165,000 copies. Last year, when he broke out on the mainstream with the Dreamchasers series, Mill was listed among the “Freshmen of 2011″ in XXL’s annual editorial after having signed with both Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group label and Jay-Z’s management team. The talented hip-hop recording artist and profuse lyricist surprises with his Essentials or lack thereof. While minimal, the bling is clearly precious: 2 chains–one yellow gold and rose gold, both of the highest VS Clarity–that total about 70 karats worth of diamonds when combined, a rose gold 41mm Rollie with 30 karats of diamonds–also VS Clarity, a black Gucci belt and iPhone. All featured jewelry come from Shyne jewelers.
