Venerable footwear company Sperry Top-sider has partnered with The Fin Studio in Boston to celebrate the first extension of The Sea Project – a contemporary, culture-forward project inspired by Sperry Top-Sider’s “Passion for the Sea” that fuses up-and-coming artists with fashion projects, street-level outreach, fine art exhibitions, and other creative initiatives. Each project is aligned with a non-profit organization to benefit from this effort.
The inaugural Sea Project Exhibit was held on October 25, 2012 at The Fourth Wall Project in Boston. This new and exciting project allowed artists, appreciators, tastemakers, sneaker-heads, editors, bloggers and the curious to view and admire original works of art produced by six different artists. Half of the proceeds from the evening were donated to the Charles River Watershed Association.
Participating artists included Aaron Moran, Beth Hoeckel, Julia Talcott, Brandon McLean, John Fellows & Nate Deyesso and artwork can be viewed and purchased at: www.the-sea-project.com
