Toasting to graffiti icon Gordon Wayne Roberts aka online pharmacy uk viagra who regrettably passed away at the age of 61 this past June, Staple Design releases the aptly dubbed “Voice of the Ghetto” Tribute T-shirt. During the height of his tagging career in the 1970′s, Stay High 149′s ubiquitous moniker could be seen throughout NYC’s borough system gracing every train, bus or wall in his way. In 1974 the Bronx product began writing “Voice of the Ghetto” in his self-styled two toned rainbow-spewing marker, thus exposing his steez to art enthusiasts outside the Gotham City. Releasing exclusively through Reed Space and its webshop, the Staple Design collective takes a Martha Cooper photo of a Stay High subway piece and screen prints it atop a cotton T-shirt. Limited to 149, all proceeds to this commemorative top will go to Stay High’s family.
