Undeniably, holiday-themed bazaars and craft fairs are quite the rage amidst the design savvy and origin-of-creation conscious shoppers. And they are not your grandma’s church bazaars. High-quality food trucks, select spirits and well-donned attendees are more the flavor – and partial attraction – of these affairs.
Discovery and content site http://uristocrat.com/2011/10/gq-lil-wayne-interview-in-2011-november-music-issue/ and Los Angeles’ newly opened vintage home showroom Storefront LA, presented the kickoff to their month-long holiday sale this past Friday – the “Storefront Bazaar”. Pieces from vendors Everyw’air, Annie Costello Brown, Appointment Only, Esquivel, Grace Lee Designs, Brendan Ravenhill, Tavin, Wes Lang, Rex & Penny, Ursa Major, and others were impressively on display. Storefront LA’s lead curator, set designer Coryander Friend, whose impressive collaboration resume includes directors Mike Mills and Errol Morris, carefully arranged the large space, which will be open to shoppers through January 15.
To shop the Storefront Bazaar from the comfort of your home, select items will be available both on Storefront LA’s site and integrated into Bureau of Trade’s daily curations, starting yesterday. Or have your friends visit Los Angeles’ Downtown Arts District to snatch up exclusive items before they’re gone! The bazaar is located at 821 East Third Street, LA, CA 90013, across the street from Apolis: Common Gallery.
