U.K.-based CASH CA was founded in 1999 with the concept of producing luxurious, traditionally-crafted knitwear. When, in 2010, the label enlisted the help of noted Japanese designer Kazuki Kuraishi, CASH CA was introduced to a new generation of knitwear enthusiasts, bringing its simple, comfortable and high-quality garments beyond UK borders and into the international market. We were recently presented with the opportunity to work with both Kuraishi and CASH CA on a focused capsule collection, fusing the label’s European origins and design cues with Kuraishi’s Japanese streetwear roots and our own casual aesthetic. Comprised of three pieces — a sweat parka, sweatpants and pocket tee — each garment is made of luxuriously soft cotton, while contrasting yellow pockets provide visual flair and features like adjustable web belts and drop pockets add elements of functional style.
The exclusive CASH CA for Hypebeast Fall/Winter 2012 Capsule Collection is available now at our online store.
