We felt it was the perfect time for us to establish ourselves in this market.
Why did you guys choose Bruce Weber to participate in the opening of the store?
I greatly enjoy collaborations with other artists, it’s one of the great perks of my job that I have the ability to work with these creative talents who I so admire.
Bruce is a terrific talent. He is one of the most iconic fashion photographers of all time. His stark black and white, formed photography fits well into my vision for Dior Homme. Plus, Bruce is from Miami. He is a part of the community. I wanted to offer something to our Miami customer’s beyond simply a retail shopping experience—I wanted to connect with Miami in a way that spoke both to the brand and to the community, so it made total sense to me to offer him a ‘carte blanche.’
