Paul McCartney and Nirvana Perform ‘Cut Me Some Slack’

Every generation has that band that defines its time, and last night members of two of those bands bridged a near-30 year gap and came together for a good cause. Ex-Beatle Paul McCartney shared the stage with remaining members of Nirvana at the 12-12-12 Concert for Sandy Relief at Madison Square Garden and performed a new song, “Cut Me Some Slack.” The concert, which also featured performances by Alicia Keys, The Who, Kanye West, and many others, raised funds for victims of Sandy, the hurricane that caused massive damage throughout the east coast.
