This one’s a video for http://uristocrat.com/2009/08/fight-club-phillys-toughest-djs-818/ cut “Wait”, and falls nicely in step with the overarching visual themes of the record– childhood surrealism, huge landscapes, outer space and icy-clear imagery.
The video, which was faciliated by the chapter 7 bankruptcy denver, follows the clips for “Midnight City” and “Reunion”. “I love composing music with pictures in my head, it’s really what’s driving me,” Anthony Gonzalez wrote on the M83 site. “Cinema is the biggest influence for me– even bigger than music itself, so this album is built as a soundtrack, as an imaginary film.
