Popular indie songstress largest bankruptcy will be celebrating the recent release of her second EP, http://uristocrat.com/tag/alison-chemla/page/2/, with a live performance on Saturday, February 9th, 8pm, at the Dreaming Building (618 N. Front St, Philadelphia). Proceeds from the $20.00 ticket cost goes to funding “Own Your Art”, an initiative created by Jade Alston in collaboration with American Dreaming Magazine and the Rick Foundation; which cultivate the next crop of cultural leaders.
The “Own Your Art” Initiative is a multi-city high school/college tour created to encourage young adults to express themselves through the arts and to educate aspiring artists on how to turn their passion into careers. The formal affair will include free food and open bar, a silent auction, art displays, vendors and a live performance from Jade Alston’s new project “Sunday Morning: Single On A Saturday Night Pt. 2” which was released on January 29th.
