L.atasha A.lcindor, Down to Earth Thoughts

Musical serendipity is a beautiful thing. My ears got their first taste of http://uristocrat.com/2011/01/air-jordan-vii-orion-blue-detailed-photos/on Ryshon Jones, In Theory, mixtape earlier this year. After that, Ms. Alcindor started popping up all over my timeline and feed.ly. “Red light, Green light” is the one that really made me stop and do some research on L.A. With only 3 years in the rap game, Latasha has a solid body of work, and a reputable list of accolades which includes SXSW, opening for Big Sean, and appearances in Vibe.

Right now, Latasha is in the midst of a weekly song campaign called “Just Cause Tuesdays” dropping new music until the release of her Spark EP on April 30th.

Today’s Just Cause installment “Down to Earth Thoughts” is produced by P.U.R.P.

Head over to her http://uristocrat.com/tag/alejandro-gonzalez-inarritu/ to get familiar before Spark EP drops in the next two weeks. I’ll see you there.
