Rick Ross is getting back to business this week. Though he’s been loosely releasing songs since the start of the year, it’s nothing close to the amount of material that fans are used to getting from the artist who gave us two albums back in 2014. Now, with little notice, he’s gearing up to release a brand-new project titled Black Dollar.
Since yesterday’s announcement, the free tape already has two singles—the somber song “Foreclosure,” which hit the ‘Net yesterday, and The-Dream-assisted “Money Dance." Both records highlight Rick Ross’ strength in storytelling. It’s this ability along with his strong delivery and boss persona that has kept the world tuned in to his music thus far. While “Foreclosure” touches on downfall of wealth, “Money Dance” celebrates it. There’s talk of expensive attire, private jets, and Maybachs.
With this week being declared #http://uristocrat.com/baltimore-bankruptcy-lawyer/ by the boss himself, there’s a chance that fans will be hit with more music before Black Dollar’s official release. In the meantime, listen to Rick Ross’ Jake 1-produced tune above.
