French Montana Talks “Coke Zoo” Mixtape with Fetty Wap, Gives Update on “Mac and Cheese” Album

French Montana confirms Coke Zoo mixtape with Fetty Wap.

The rumored French Montana and Fetty Wap collaboration has been confirmed, and it’s more than just a few records. After earning a No. 1 album with his self-titled debut, Fetty Wap has teamed up with his One Hell of a Night tour-mate French Montana to craft a new mixtape titled Coke Zoo.

Confirming the project in a recent interview, French shared some insight into the appeal of working with Fetty Wap. "When me and Max [B] did it, when me and Three 6 Mafia did it — when I love a sound…it’s just something new. We’re both from the East — I feel like it’s big for our culture. We kind of kept it in the team — you know, all the Coke Boys and all the Zoo Gang members."

In addition to discussing Coke Zoo and revealing the mixtape’s cover art, French also took time to address the status of his long-awaited sophomore LP, Mac & Cheese: The Album. The Bronx-bred rapper confirmed that the album is done and will feature all brand new material. He also stated that Diddy is definitely on the album, and that the first single from the project will be released following the Coke Zoo mixtape.

Hit the jump for the Coke Zoo cover art by Emmanual Santiago. Expect French Montana to announce a release date for the project this week via Instagram.
