In one of the more surprising teaser clips before the release of Suicide Squad, New England Patriots NFL player Rob Gronkowski has appeared counseling Margot Robbie’s character Harley Quinn.
Harley sits on a psychiatrist’s couch and vents about how the supervillains in the film are getting an unfairly bad reputation. After she’s explained that they’re all pretty good people, it’s revealed that she’s talking to Gronk – who in turn explains that he knows exactly how she feels because his “squad” always have a bad rep, too.
Suicide Squad is set for release on August 5 and follows intelligence officer Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) as she assembles a team of dangerous supervillains for a covert mission. Watch the teaser above, and check out the extended trailer below.
