According to a person with knowledge of the release plans, the much-anticipated project will be arriving through an exclusive deal with Apple Music. To coincide with the drop, Frank is also expected to let loose of a new music video as well as a printed publication called “Boys Don’t Cry” that will be distributed at Apple stores.
The aforementioned source has also revealed that Boys Don’t Cry will be an Apple exclusive for two weeks before becoming available on other platforms.
Boys Don’t Cry will act as a followup to Ocean’s wildly celebrated Channel Orange debut which arrived back in 2012. Frank went on to announce Boys Don’t Cry roughly three years ago, and it’s been a roller coaster ride revolving the impending release since.
