Evil Nine featuring Danny Brown – The Black Brad Pitt (Deebs Remix)

With the original track surfacing last month along with a pair remixes, we bring yet another recreation of Evil Nine and Danny Brown’s collaborative track “The Black Brad Pitt.” Coming by way of Canadian producer Deebs, the remix is one Brown fans will enjoy. Keeping the energy created from the original, the remix tweaks Brown’s vocals over the synth-heavy production. Stream the remix down below, and be sure to grab The Black Brad Pitt EP, which is available for purchase off iTunes via Bromance Records.

Video: 100ML – Walt Fraze

I can’t front, I almost slept on Walt Fraze‘s album; BLUE (DOWNLOAD). But I downloaded it right before my trip to California, threw it on my iPod, and it has been on REPEAT ever since. This was undoubtedly my favorite song on the tape, and coincidentally is the video I’ve been seeing posted everywhere. The somber visuals, stark lyrics, and sinister beat makes it a welcome addition to my “Late Night Lurking” playlist. Not to mention, the amazing job that Brain Bandits did visually. It brought everything full circle and showcased the song in such a great way that you get a sense of who Walt Fraze is. S/O to the Dirty Middle Class collective, and the homie Paul Brown (of Nobody Special, whom I previously blogged about HERE) low key lurking in the video.

Cronos & Lander Khadel – Lightbulbs

After catching our attention with his work on Kilo Kish’s latest leaked tune “Creep Wave,” London producer Cronos has teamed together with his fellow countrymen Lander Khadel and released a video for their track “Lightbulbs.” The tune is hard-hitting soulful piece, and along with Lander’s uniquely deep vocals, the track is sure to put the two artists on a few more people’s radar. The strange yet intriguing visuals follow a man who carries around a carpet to dance upon and a female who carries her MPC in her briefcase as she lays the beat. Clearly these two characters are meant to be together, and the soundtrack fits perfectly. Check out the video up above and let us know your thoughts.
