Keds introduces their “Call of Duty” sneaker which features military inspiration from the 1940s. The 1940’s-inspired Call of Duty sneaker is the forth of 10 decades-themed styles in the brand’s new Century Collection.  The sneaker will be sold exclusively at www.theorignialsneaker.com available now.

We took an earlier look at the Nike Air Force 1 WBF “Five Boroughs” Bronx sneaker and now its time to see the Manhattan version.  As said before the sneaker is created to coincide with the World Basketball Festival going on in NYC and this sneaker has its own special unique color way.  The sneaker features a wine upper with a grey “carpeted” chenille swoosh and piping on the no-sew construction of the shoe.   The shoe is meant to honor the history and influence of New York City basketball culture.  The sneaker was reportedly designed by DJ Clark Kent and is available in very limited quantities at select Nike Sportswear retailers such as WEST NYC, so head there now to pick up these limited kicks.

Nike is celebrating the city of New York by releasing the World Basketball Festival “Five Borough” Pack which features Nike Air Force 1 Premium low sneakers.  Here is a look at the Bronx version which pays homage to the birthplace of Hip-Hop.  The sneaker features premium suede and tumbled leather as well as a chenille swoosh.  The sneaker features a combination of colors which make it more NY Mets friendly than NY Yankees. I also think the color scheme was influenced by the Puerto Rican flag.

Today features a more detailed look at the upcoming release of the Air Jordan XIII (13) Sneaker in the Retro ‘Flint” colorway.  This sneaker was pretty innovative when first released in 1998 and featured ballistic nylon, 3M Threads and its signature dimple panel.  This sneaker looks to be a November release but we will keep you updated as that may be subject to change.

New Balance releases its 420 sneaker for Fall 2010 in new colorways with new applications of suede and nylon.  The collection will be available in August 2010 and will retail for $60.00. Originally designed to protect the athlete in the 1970s, the 420 incorporates a three layer outsole and technologically superior patented Extended Saddle. Today, the 420 remains a New Balance classic heritage silhouette providing a low profile sneaker offering for both men and women alike. The New Balance 420 will be available at Zappos.com starting in August 2010 in five colorways: navy/yellow, yellow/blue, green/yellow, grey/red, and blue.  These updated colorways look great and will certainly be a great addition to any runners collection.

Does anyone remember Nike’s “My Butt is Big” campaign from 2005? Well here is the 2010 version of it which is aimed at celebrating the ladies with well endowed derrières. The 2010 version of the ad actually features an entire woman from head to toe as opposed to the 2005 version which just featured the booty. Take a look at the ad and tell us your thoughts. I especially want to hear from ladies and see what you think of this ad. Does this ad want to make you buy more shoes from Nike? What are your honest opinions on this?

I think these Vans SK8-Hi look pretty nice. Wearing them is another matter. Vans for Fall 2010 offers these striped Sk8-His in red, green and navy.  Now available at select Vans retailers including ABC-Mart.

Nike SB will release this Nike SB Bruin in a cappucino and white colorway.  These sneakers look great and should be available next month.

I might have to add this to my personal collection of Vans.  We take a look at the Vans Vault Era LX “Inca Flower” which is part of the Vans Vault “Inca Flower” pack.  The sneaker features a mainly teal suede upper with a quarter panel featuring the “Inca Flower” pattern.  These should be available at your local retailer.

Today, we take a look at the PF Flyers Double Tongue sneaker for Fall 2010. This sneaker features a double tongue which is an evolution of sorts from the original PF Flyers Classic sneaker that was released in 1953. The high top sneaker has twin leather tongues that are pierced for laces and flip to reveal color. It also has full grain leather detailing from eyerow to toecap and a stitch detail of the PF Flyers heritage chevron on the side of the shoe.

The Double Tongue Hi is a part of PF Flyers Fall 2010 Flow Collection of accelerated classics. The sneakers in this collection are rich with the latest saturated tones and racing provocative counter-color. This collections is a glimpse of tomorrow’s sneaker hall-of-fame.

We take a look at these Nike SB Dunk High Pro QS sneakers which feature a sport red upper, black accents as well as Metallic Gold accents.  The upper, as previously mentioned, features liberal swaths of red suede which complements the shiny metallic gold.  No word on a US release but they are available in Japan at LTD Online.

Converse releases the music video for All Summer, the new original single by three of music’s most influential artists – Kid Cudi, Rostam of Vampire Weekend, and Best Coast – for the iconic brand’s Three Artists. One Song collaboration.
