K-Swiss Classic High

k-swiss-classic-high

The K-Swiss Classic’s name says it all. The Swiss wonder is as known for its 5 stripes as it is its propensity for being worn in the summer. It was streetwear before streetwear was popular. Although the brand has been a bit reclusive its great to see them pop up with a release this fresh. The usually low cut sneaker pops up with ankle support and mesh, two things the popular model is definitely not known or but are more than welcome additions. In the name of keeping things subtle but fresh peep the 5 ringed lace tips that not only adds the tiniest hint of color but also makes the thick woven laces that much more fresh. Unfortunately these wont be dropping until spring 2010. Via quick tax return calculator

Nike’s Air Max department definitely doesn’t sleep and at the rate they keep droppin fresh kicks they are going to ensure that we don’t eat. Next up to take your milk money are these Air Classic BW in black/metallic silver/purple and safari. The colorway sounds so wild that it was only right that a safari print be included. Most of the leather and mesh upper is black while the midsole is dressed in silver and white. Purple serves as purely an accent in very minimal hits while the safari print is found in a very unlikely place, the tongue. No word on when the shoes will hit retailers but they are definitely on ebay right now. Via Sneakernews

Nike Air Force 1 Mid – White/Varsity Maize

img56003151

Everybody loves seeing a new colorway on AF1’s right? Here we see a new Mid with Varsity Maize accenting giving it just the right amount of shine to stand out. The color finds its way onto the outsole, midsole stitching, swoosh, heel tab, vecro strapstay and tongue.  Interestingly it is absent from the tongue tag giving these kicks a more customized feel than factory. If you like the Mids or not you gotta admit, these are definitely fresh. Via 1st-Sneaker

Adidas Skate Summer Collection

Adidas Skate Summer Collection

Without a doubt Nike controls the market when it comes to combining street wear freshness and skateboarding functionality; however, that does not keep the people at Adidas skate from throwing their designs into the mix. Adidas Skate definitely keeps a wide range of designs as each shoe pictured not only differs in model but also in color. Each shoe has a suede upper with leather stripes, but that’s where the similarities end.  Make sure to check out the classics in blue and white. These are available now. Pick them up before the hype! Japanese icon Hiroshi Fujiwara collaborated with Nike to produce a very simple, yet beautiful sneaker. Fujiwara is internationally known for his influential street wear designs, music, trendsetting, and creating Nike’s ‘HTM’ line. The shoe shown features an all black Patten leather upper with a perforated Nike swoosh that gives a clean feel. The white sole and toe box make this a fresh, yet timeless shoe. Via: Colmilludo.
