Penfield Fall/Winter 2014 Lookbook

http://uristocrat.com/category/uristocrat/page/297/ releases a first look at their Fall/Winter 2014 collection.  The collection celebrates their classic cuts of outwear, reminding everyone of the brand’s roots in all things outdoors.  Penfield once again delivers a strong collection that doesn’t disappoint.  The brand known for Utility, strength and durability has made a lot of additions to their baseline items.

Technical upgrades have been made to the always classic windproof Hoosac Parka, the Kasson jacket adds a layer of water protection with its bonded cotton and the new Loring down-insulated shirt sits beside very colorful and class old-school fleeces.

We here at Uristocrat are looking forward to when this collection is released. There are a couple of standout pieces needed for the closet.

Penfield 2013 Fall/Winter Lookbook

One of my favorite outerwear companies, Penfield launches its 2013 fall/winter campaign with a lookbook (I actually have on a Penfield vest right now). The campaign features a  focus on practicality and durability for intended use in a multitude of environments. Take a look at all the items below and check out Penfield’s latest goods online at Penfield.

A Brief History of Penfield
Penfield was established in Hudson, Massachusetts in 1975, by Harvey Gross. A pioneering figure in the American outerwear industry since the early 1960s. Gross recognized and championed the strength of down insulated outerwear for its unique and unrivalled ability to provide strong, durable warmth and protection.

Requiring a special manufacturing process and with only a few factories in the world expert at producing down insulated apparel, Gross decided to acquire a small manufacturing plant within an old textile mill in Hudson to produce Penfield’s high quality down filled garments.

It was this stylish New England aesthetic, that helped to introduce the American outerwear look to an international market and Penfield began exporting to Japan in 1979. Since then, high-profile collaborations, innovative fabric developments together with an unfaltering commitment to quality, function and style have all caught the attention of top global retailers including Barney’s, Nordstrom, J.Crew, Ron Herman, Liberty, Harrods and key independents from Present, London to Edifice, Tokyo. The brand has steadily become recognized worldwide for its high quality, stylish apparel.

Today, Penfield is available in 30 countries worldwide and always designed For Life in the Open.

Staple x Penfield Rockwell Jacket

Staple x Penfield Rockwell Jacket

Staple and Penfield embark on a new collaborative project for the season, creating the Rockwell Jacket. Slotting into Staple’s holiday collection, the third such collaboration between both parties features a 60/40 fabric with an insulated body courtesy of a 80/20 down blend. A dark shearling fur collar ensures the elements are kept at bay with other noteworthy details applied to the cuffs and shoulder yoke through the use of leather. The Staple x Penfield Rockwool Jacket will be available at select retailers starting December 3, 2012.
