A$AP Rocky Releases "Helicopter$" Ahead of Don't Be Dumb Album

A$AP Rocky released "Helicopter$" on January 12, the latest single from his upcoming album Don't Be Dumb, which arrives January 16 via A$AP Worldwide and RCA Records.

The track follows last week's release of "Punk Rocky" and is accompanied by a music video directed by Rocky and Dan Streit. Created in partnership with Moncler to support Rocky's GENIUS Collection, the video features advanced 3D rendering and hologram technology. ESPN has tapped the song as the soundtrack for its College Football Playoff National Championship game promotional spot.

Don't Be Dumb marks Rocky's first album in nearly eight years, following 2018's Testing. The album was originally scheduled for release on August 30, 2024, but was delayed due to sample clearances and leaks. Previous singles intended for the album, including "Highjack" featuring Jessica Pratt, "Tailor Swif," and "Ruby Rosary," are no longer included on the final tracklist.

Tim Burton designed the album's cover art. The project features production from Pharrell Williams, Mike Dean, Madlib, Metro Boomin, The Alchemist, and Dean Blunt, with Danny Elfman contributing to multiple tracks.

Don't Be Dumb will be available in digital, vinyl, CD, and cassette formats on January 16.
