The Air Jordan 8 "Chrome" returns on August 29, 2026 at a retail price of $215, according to Sneaker Bar Detroit. The shoe carries style code 305381-007 and releases through SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers.

This is the colorway's first reissue in more than a decade. The "Chrome" first arrived in 2003 and was retroed once before, in 2015. The 2026 version is more accurate to the original in both fit and shape than the 2015 pair, and carries the official color designation Black/Chrome.

The build is a black nubuck upper with chrome-finished hardware on the strap buckles and the midsole. Grey accents appear on the chenille tongue logo and the mudguard, and the shoe keeps the crossover straps and perforated overlays that define the silhouette. The Air Jordan 8 was the shoe Michael Jordan wore during the 1993 season, the third title of Chicago's first three-peat.

The release continues a run of Air Jordan 8 retros. The Air Jordan 8 "Bugs Bunny" returned in December 2025 as part of the silhouette's 40th anniversary, and the Air Jordan 8 "Bin23" released July 24 for $355 in a run of 2,300 pairs.

The Air Jordan 5 "White Metallic" returned in April 2026 with the Nike Air heel branding that the 2015 retro omitted.
