Alabama Wide Receiver Ryan Williams Signs Nike NIL Deal

Alabama wide receiver Ryan Williams has signed a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal with Nike, making him just the second college football player to join the brand's NIL roster. Williams, nicknamed "Hollywood," led Alabama with 865 receiving yards and eight touchdowns during his freshman season in 2024. He earned Freshman All-American and All-SEC First Team honors while averaging 18 yards per catch. The 18-year-old from Saraland, Alabama, currently holds an NIL valuation of $2.7 million according to On3 Sports.
"Since I can remember, Nike has always been the best fit on and off the field," Williams said in Nike's press release. "Family has always been a huge part of who I am. When I had the opportunity to join the Nike family, I knew I had to just do it."
Williams joins former Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders as the only college football players with Nike NIL deals. He already has existing partnerships with Uber Eats, EA Sports, and Hollister. Alabama has been a Nike partner for over 30 years.
The sophomore will begin his second season when Alabama opens against Florida State on August 30. Financial terms of the Nike deal were not disclosed.
