BAPE x Crocs Echo RO Clog Lands Globally May 14 for $110

BAPE and Crocs return for round two on Thursday, May 14, 2026, with the Echo RO Clog pack opening globally via Crocs.com and select retailers at $110 a pair. The three colorways — Powder Blue (navy camo), Grapeberry (purple camo), and Flame (red camo) — already had a one-day BAPE-exclusive launch on May 9 through bape.com and BAPE stores. Saturday's wider drop is the real volume play.

The shoe

The Echo RO is Crocs' most sculpted clog silhouette — a more aggressive, architectural read on the brand's signature than the original Classic Clog. The BAPE treatment puts the house's COLOR CAMO graphic across the entire upper, with "BAPE" branding embroidered on the forefoot strap and a PVC STA logo applied to the lateral heel strap. The Jibbitz package — "GO! APE" speech bubble, APE HEAD charm, and a sleeping MILO over a Bape wordmark — is the giveaway that this is a serious collab rather than a logo paint-job.

Why the second collab matters more than the first

The 2025 BAPE footwear program was a surprise — Crocs has historically struggled with streetwear collabs that weren't novelty plays, and BAPE has spent the past five years rebuilding credibility as Nigo's solo brand identity (post-Human Made, post-Kenzo) settled. The first round sold through quickly, with resale immediately doubling retail on the BLACK FLAGSTONE colorway. The second round is the test — whether the heat was situational or whether BAPE x Crocs is now a recurring summer franchise.

The COLOR CAMO move is the right answer to that question. Camo is BAPE's most recognizable graphic, and putting the loud spring-summer palette on a silhouette that's already over-designed creates the kind of visual extremity Crocs collabs need to register at retail. The Powder Blue and Grapeberry pairs in particular sit in the same color register as the BAPE BAPESTA roadmap for SS26 — these are meant to function as a set with the rest of the season's apparel.

The cultural read

The strongest signal here is the price discipline. At $110, BAPE x Crocs sits cleanly below the threshold where collab-clog buying turns from impulse to investment. That keeps the audience wide — closer to Pharrell-era ubiquity than Salehe Bembury–era scarcity — and protects the long-term partnership from the resale arbitrage that killed the BAPE x Adidas era around 2017. The brand is treating Crocs the way it used to treat the original BAPESTA: a recurring canvas with seasonal repaints.

For the buyer, the math is simple — three colorways, one global drop window, no raffle entry, $110 a pair. The shoes will be on Crocs.com and at BAPE flagships Saturday morning.
