Broncos, Courtland Sutton agree to 4-year, $92 million deal: Sources

The Denver Broncos and wide receiver Courtland Sutton have agreed to terms on a four-year, $92 million contract extension, according to multiple sources. The deal was finalized on Monday following training camp practice, with NFL Network's Tom Pelissero among the first to report the agreement. The extension includes $41 million in guaranteed money, which encompasses Sutton's $14 million salary for the 2025 season plus $27 million in new guaranteed money. The contract tacks four additional years onto the final year of Sutton's existing deal, securing him with Denver through the 2029 season.
Sutton is coming off the best season of his NFL career, hauling in 81 passes for 1,081 yards and 8 touchdowns while playing alongside rookie quarterback Bo Nix. The 29-year-old receiver has spent his entire seven-year career with the Broncos after being selected in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft from SMU. During training camp negotiations, Sutton had been a limited participant in team drills, focusing primarily on individual work and walk-throughs while his representatives and the team worked toward finalizing the extension. The new deal makes Sutton one of the higher-paid receivers in the NFL with an average annual value of approximately $23 million, securing the top target for the Broncos' offense that ranked 10th in scoring last season.
