Browns Fire Kevin Stefanski After Six Seasons, Berry Remains as GM

The Cleveland Browns fired head coach Kevin Stefanski on Monday after six seasons with the franchise. General manager Andrew Berry will remain with the organization and lead the search for Cleveland's next head coach.

Stefanski finishes with a 45-56 record in his tenure, leading the Browns to playoff appearances in 2020 and 2023. He won NFL Coach of the Year honors twice during his first four seasons. The Browns finished 5-12 in 2025, marking their second consecutive last-place finish in the AFC North.

The decision comes after Cleveland went 8-26 over the past two seasons following a contract extension signed in June 2024. Stefanski becomes the franchise's 10th head coach departure since 1999, with Berry now tasked with finding the team's 11th head coach in that span.
