Fear of God released two pieces made with painter Amy Sherald on Sept. 11, 2026, under the title Fear of God for Amy Sherald: American Sublime. The Amy Sherald Pocket Hoodie costs $395 and the Amy Sherald Tee costs $195. Both come in a single Sky Blue colorway and are sold exclusively at fearofgod.com, the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, and The Broad in Los Angeles, according to Fear of God's product listings.

Each piece has a hand-printed "Amy Sherald / Fear of God" lockup across the chest. The back carries a full print of Kingdom, Sherald's 2022 oil-on-linen painting of a child standing at the top of a playground slide, rendered with her signature grayscale skin tones. The painting is nearly 10 feet tall (117 1/8 by 92 inches) and is part of The Broad's collection.

The hoodie is 100% heavyweight cotton fleece with a sun-fade wash and hand distressing, a kangaroo pocket, side pockets, and a Fear of God label on the hood. The tee is made in the USA from 100% heavyweight cotton jersey, garment-washed and sun-faded, with drop shoulders and three-quarter sleeves. The tee runs XS to XXL and the hoodie XS to XL.

The release lands in the last weeks of Amy Sherald: American Sublime, the largest exhibition of her work to date. Organized by SFMOMA, the show debuted in San Francisco in 2024, traveled to the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Baltimore Museum of Art, and is at the High through Sept. 27, 2026, its fourth and final venue, according to the High. It brings together more than 35 paintings made between 2007 and 2024. Uristocrat covered the exhibition when it opened and Sherald's decision to cancel its Smithsonian stop over censorship concerns.

The apparel follows an earlier tie between the artist and the brand. Sherald wore custom Fear of God to the 2025 Met Gala and sat at founder Jerry Lorenzo's table alongside Ryan Coogler, Arthur Jafa and Lauren Halsey, Wallpaper* reported. In January, Sherald signed with CAA for representation.
