Thursday is loaded. The NBA Western Conference Finals get a Game 6 with the Spurs facing elimination, the WNBA puts two of its bigger matchups on Prime Video, and MLB serves a quiet but watchable evening. Here is what to watch and where.
Marquee: Oklahoma City Thunder at San Antonio Spurs, West Finals Game 6 (8:30 PM ET, NBC/Peacock)
OKC leads the series 3-2 after Alex Caruso, Isaiah Hartenstein, and the Thunder bench tilted Game 5 back. Victor Wembanyama needs to be himself for a full 48 minutes if the Spurs want a Game 7. In their two wins this series he is averaging 37 and 16 on 53 percent shooting. In their three losses he is at 22 and 9 on 43 percent. Game 5 ended with one first-half rebound from him. OKC has Jalen Williams listed game-time-decision with a hamstring, and the Spurs are without David Jones-Garcia. Frost Bank Center will be loud. Closing this on the road would put the defending champs back in the Finals with a long week of rest.

The thread tonight is closeout versus survival. The Thunder are trying to lock down a Finals return, the Spurs are trying to push it back to OKC, and the rest of the slate fills the evening around the 8:30 ET tip.
