Week 1 keeps rolling, and tonight it rolls all the way to Australia. The Rams and 49ers play the first NFL regular season game ever held there, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Before that, baseball fills the day, starting with two first-place-caliber clubs in Atlanta at lunchtime.

Marquee: 49ers vs. Rams, NFL Melbourne Game (8:35 PM ET, Netflix)

The Rams are the designated home team 8,000 miles from home, and they come in close to full strength. Sports Illustrated reports Myles Garrett and Puka Nacua are good to go. San Francisco takes a hit on the defensive line. The 49ers ruled out Alfred Collins with a knee injury and listed James Thompson Jr. as questionable. The good news for them: ESPN says Nick Bosa is set to play and George Kittle looks good. Both teams made a long trip for this one, and ESPN broke down the travel tradeoffs. Division game, neutral site, weird body clocks. Expect some sloppiness early.

Vegas line: Rams -3.5, total 48.5, moneyline Rams -198 / 49ers +164 (DraftKings, via ESPN odds).

Baseball holds the day, then the NFL takes over at night from the other side of the world. If the Rams live up to the offseason hype, it starts in Melbourne.
