One game tonight, and it's a good one. Baseball's regular season wrapped Sunday, there's no NBA or NHL on the board, so Monday belongs to the Eagles and Bears at Soldier Field. The story changed on Saturday, when Chicago ruled out Caleb Williams.
Marquee: Philadelphia Eagles at Chicago Bears, Monday Night Football (8:15 PM ET, ESPN/ABC)
Philadelphia is 2-0, but neither win was clean: 24-22 over Washington and 24-20 at Tennessee. Jalen Hurts has thrown for 467 yards and 5 touchdowns, and DeVonta Smith has 170 receiving yards, but the Eagles are short-handed tonight with Dallas Goedert and Hollywood Brown out and Jonathan Greenard questionable. Chicago is 1-1 after dropping 59 on Carolina and then scoring 3 against Minnesota. Williams hurt his hamstring late in that Vikings loss, and the Bears say either Tyson Bagent or Case Keenum will start. ESPN's betting preview projects Keenum. That puts the load on D'Andre Swift, who already has 169 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns, and on a home crowd that needs to make Hurts uncomfortable early. The market has read it the same way: the total opened at 43.5 and has dropped to 41.5.

Nothing else. MLB, the NBA, and the NHL are all off today, so this is the only live game on the watch board. Tomorrow's slate will be up there in the morning.
The question for tonight is simple. Can Chicago win a game without its quarterback by running the ball and keeping it close, or does an Eagles team that hasn't looked sharp yet still get to 3-0 on talent? A backup QB, a falling total, and a 3.5-point spread say this one could come down to the last drive.
