The Guardians and Rays play what could be a series-tilting Game 4 tonight, the NBA's early-season slate keeps rolling with a dozen games on the board, and the Big Ten puts a ranked matchup on FOX.

Marquee: Rays at Guardians, ALCS Game 4 (8:00 PM ET, TBS)
Cleveland leads the series 2-1 after Thursday's win, when a Daniel Halpin home run was the difference and Tampa Bay's lineup struck out 13 times. The Rays need this one: lose tonight and they're staring at a 3-1 hole with the series shifting back to Tropicana Field. Tampa Bay hands the ball to Nick Martinez; Cleveland hasn't named a starter. The Guardians, who haven't won a World Series since 1948, are two wins from getting there.
Vegas line (ESPN): Rays -112 / Guardians -102 on the moneyline, Rays -1.5 (+163) / Guardians +1.5 (-199) on the run line, total 6.5 (-110 either way).
Also tonight
- Celtics at 76ers (7:00 PM ET, NBA TV). Boston opens a road trip against a Philadelphia team already carrying a long injury list tonight, with Simons and Bona among those listed day-to-day.
- Bucks at Pacers (7:00 PM ET). Both teams are banged up early, a reminder the East's middle class is still shaking out this season.
- Washington at Purdue (8:00 PM ET, FOX). The Huskies travel to West Lafayette looking to keep their Big Ten footing; Purdue needs the home crowd to make this a real fight.
- Penguins at Avalanche (9:00 PM ET). Colorado is one of the league's toughest home draws right now, and Pittsburgh's road trip west doesn't get easier after this stop.
- Nuggets at Lakers (10:30 PM ET, ESPN). The night closes on the coast, with Denver and LA both trying to find early-season rhythm in front of a national audience.
Baseball owns the night. If Tampa Bay can't solve Cleveland's pitching again, the Guardians are two wins from their first World Series trip since 1948. Everything else on the board, from the Big Ten to the late West Coast NBA window, is undercard.
