Games to Watch is a daily preview of the day's biggest matchups. Vegas lines are pulled live for the marquee game only. Other games don't carry a line yet, that's coming soon.
Milwaukee is one win from a commanding grip on the World Series. The rest of the slate is stacked too: a reeling Alabama hosts a reeling Texas A&M, Arch Manning gets a measuring-stick test from Ole Miss, and Victor Wembanyama and Cooper Flagg share a court for the first time this season.
Marquee: Tampa Bay Rays at Milwaukee Brewers
8:00 PM ET, FOX
The Brewers took Game 1, 3-2, behind a strong Jacob Misiorowski start, and now get a chance to put Tampa Bay in a 2-0 hole before the series shifts states. ESPN has Milwaukee as a -127 moneyline favorite tonight with a 6.5 run total. The World Series futures market still likes the Brewers at -295 to close it out, with the Rays at +240. Drew Rasmussen takes the ball for Tampa Bay looking to even things up before this thing heads back to American Family Field with a different complexion entirely.
Vegas: Brewers -127 ML, Rays +106 ML, O/U 6.5 (ESPN)
Also on the slate
Texas A&M at Alabama, 3:30 PM ET on ABC. Alabama has lost back to back for the first time since 2007, and Kalen DeBoer's seat is getting warm. Texas A&M isn't in better shape either. Mike Elko's offense has stalled out and Marcel Reed is scuffling. Alabama opened as a 15.5-point favorite and the number has settled in around -13.5, which tells you oddsmakers still trust the home team to find itself first.
Ole Miss at Texas, 7:30 PM ET on ABC. Ole Miss steamrolled Missouri last week and travels to Austin as a field-goal favorite over a Texas team that's lost patience with Arch Manning. Another slow start and the quarterback conversation in Austin gets a lot louder.
San Antonio Spurs at Dallas Mavericks, 8:00 PM ET on NBA League Pass. Victor Wembanyama and Cooper Flagg on the same floor. That's the whole pitch, and it's enough.
Toronto Maple Leafs at Edmonton Oilers, 7:00 PM ET on ESPN+. Connor McDavid and the Oilers host a Toronto team still figuring out who it is without last year's answers on the back end.
UFC 333: Volkanovski vs. Evloev on Paramount+. A featherweight title fight headlines a card that's been building buzz for weeks.
