Thursday night runs through Lambeau Field, where the Packers try to shake off a Detroit loss against a Panthers team that just got run off its own field by Tampa Bay. It's a deep slate everywhere else too: five NHL games, a full NBA League Pass card, and a WNBA Finals tilt in Atlanta that tips off before most people are at their desks.
Marquee: Panthers at Packers (8:15 PM ET, Prime Video)
Green Bay is favored at home after dropping a 20-17 game in Detroit, and it's still without edge rusher Micah Parsons, who stays out with a knee injury. The bigger issue might be up front: both Sean Rhyan and Jacob Monk are unavailable, leaving a thin interior line. The Panthers arrive in worse shape after a 43-13 blowout loss to Tampa Bay dropped them to 3-3, and guard Damien Lewis (knee) didn't practice Monday. Carolina's Jaelan Phillips is a game-time call after missing Week 7 with a hamstring issue. This is the first-ever Thursday meeting between these two franchises, and Green Bay has won three of the last four overall.
Vegas line (via ESPN): Packers -3.5, O/U 47.5, moneyline Packers -192 / Panthers +160.
Also tonight
- Golden State Valkyries at Atlanta Dream (12:30 PM ET, USA/Peacock). This is Game 6 of the WNBA Finals, and first-year franchise Golden State can clinch the title in Atlanta after taking a 3-2 series lead Monday. Early tip means this one wraps up well before most of tonight's other games even start.
- Cleveland Cavaliers at Atlanta Hawks (8:00 PM ET, NBA TV). Cleveland is clean on the injury report. Atlanta is down guard Andrew Wiggins (day-to-day) and forward Mouhamed Gueye (out), plus one more.
- Sacramento Kings at New Orleans Pelicans (8:00 PM ET, NBA League Pass). Sacramento is down multiple rotation pieces, with Cardwell and Raynaud both out. New Orleans has Jordan Poole day-to-day and Missi out.
- Winnipeg Jets at Tampa Bay Lightning (7:00 PM ET, ESPN+). Tampa Bay is missing Victor Hedman and Rasmus Girgensons, both day-to-day. Winnipeg heads in with a clean injury sheet.
- Troy Trojans at James Madison Dukes (7:30 PM ET, ESPN2). A Sun Belt matchup with real bowl-picture stakes for both sides heading into November.
Five NHL games tip inside the same two-hour window tonight, so if the Packers-Panthers score gets out of hand early, there's no shortage of places to turn. Full schedule, odds, and live tracking for every game on this slate live at watch.uristocrat.com.
